More fun than I expected!

Staying in a palafito is a magical experience! Our apartment had a lovely deck with stunning views of the estuary, where fishing boats and shorebirds added to the charm. The space was well-equipped for simple meals, featuring a comfortable bedroom. Simply put, it was a peaceful slice of paradise that exceeded my expectations.

The apartment featured a nice terrace for enjoying the fresh air and a bit of outdoor space. The kitchenette had adequate equipment for preparing simple meals, which is always a plus.

Check-in was a complete mess. no one at the reception when I arrived, resulting in unnecessary phone tag. The living area felt sparse, lacking comfortable furniture, and when I needed hot water, it seemed to run out unpredictably. Additionally, the terrace seating was uncomfortable, and bird droppings made it less usable. Wasted way too much time sorting out room issues.

I stayed for three nights with my family, and the views were simply stunning, right over the sea. The location was unbeatable, as we were just a short walk from local markets and restaurants. The private parking spot made our stay even more convenient. The only hiccup was that the heating was a bit tricky to manage at first, but overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful environment.
